We believe our experience in the dental laboratory field is an important asset to a dental practice. Many of our technicians have been with Gibson since its founding. The strength of our company comes from more than 175 combined years of experience that we can share, as well as the quality of the fabrications produced. Having registered and certified dental technicians on staff says a great deal about a dental laboratory.
We know there continues to be a place for the traditional dental fabrications, but as the field of dentistry is constantly changing, Gibson Dental is committed to maintaining a level of knowledge, training and in-depth experience to support its doctors. We strive to offer our clients the latest technology, workmanship and professionalism they expect and deserve.
Gibson Dental Designs has enjoyed over 30 years of community spirit and support to our business. In turn, we feel the responsibility to contribute to local programs and charities that benefit those less fortunate. Most of our support is offered in financial contributions to assist our local schools, health services, the United Way and local Boys and Girls Clubs to name a few. But there are two that are particularly close to our hearts.
Our hometown of Gainesville, GA, has the only dental clinic in Georgia that offers free dental services to homeless and low income adults. In a very uncommon community effort, our local active and retired dentists, offer their time and service to help improve the lives of many others. Gibson Dental Designs is often a partner in contribution of supplies and lab services to help provide critical dental care to those who cannot afford it.
Another program dear to our heart is Relay for Life. All of us know someone who has been touched by cancer. Our Gibson Dental family is no different. Our employees have organized year-round fundraising projects culminating in participation in the Hall County Relay for Life celebration. Relay for Life involvement reminds all of us how precious life is, how hope is critically needed and how even the smallest act of kindness is so gratefully appreciated.
Affiliation with national, regional and state professional organizations compliments the Gibson Dental Designs interest and commitment to advanced training and continuing education opportunities. These affiliations are also valuable to staying abreast of national and state legal demands or concerns in our field of dentistry.
Gibson Dental is affiliated with the National Association of Dental Laboratories. We are also identified as a Certified Dental Laboratory, meeting the criteria and operational standards for certification set by the NADL.
Alvin Gibson is a past president of the SCDL association and has served as the Georgia Dental Lab Association president on two occasions.
Gibson Dental Designs also is affiliated with the state dental laboratory associations of Georgia.
At Gibson Dental we take pride in staying up-to-date on the latest fabrication techniques and technology. That includes using 3D printers to create our products when appropriate. Some of the technology we have invested in includes:
